DESIGN RECOGNITION FOR COOLHEAD BOTTLE

 

Taichung, Taiwan –The new Ibera Coolhead insulated bottle recently received recognition in the TBEA (Taiwan Bicycle Exporters Association) design competition. Judges at the Innobike competition, held in Taiwan in February, awarded second place to the bottle, citing cyclist-specific functionality and easy maintenance.

 

Many cyclists enjoy a cool drink on the bike, but keeping a drink cold in warm weather can be a challenge. The Coolhead was developed in response to this need, keeping drinks cool without compromising the basic functionality of a standard plastic bike bottle. Ibera Product Manager Jeremy Hsu said drinking from the Coolhead, like standard bike bottles, is a one-handed operation. The bottle also fits cages and is squeezable for faster water flow.

 

"There are other insulated bottle options on the market, but not all are suitable for cycling. Some don't fit cages, or are heavy. Others have caps that make drinking while riding a fiddly maneuver."

 

Since its release in January, Ibera has picked up several new international distributors for the Coolhead bottle.
